All The Right Type is a keyboarding program
used throughout the schools in the Algoma District School
Board.. There are four components to this program, which
include a Learning Lab, a Practice Pavilion, a Skill Building
Lab and a Word Processing Plant. Body posture, hand position,
and the proper use of the keyboard and the mouse are all
introduced and reviewed in the Learning Lab. The Practice
Pavilion helps the student with the home row position, as
well as numbers, capital letters, periods, question marks,
apostrophes and commas. Students may redo any line or move
ahead to the next line – the choice is up to the student!
The Word Processing segment allows the student to practice
the learned material. The Testing Lab reviews all of the
108 lessons. Between 20-30 hours are allotted for this keyboarding
program. As with any keyboarding tutorial, practice is a
key element to success. All The Right Type assists a student
along the way!
